16th/17th century leather stirrup decorated to make a face. There is an iron structure acting as the foot support and decorative copper studs form the "nose". Incised decoration to the leather on one side only, presumably indicating that this should be used for the right foot. Possibly Spanish.
Some damage and losses. The leather is very hard.
